East of India Gifts

The distinctive gift range that comes from East of India is really special. It started back in 1989 when the founders of this innovative gift collection came across some talented artisans in their travels around the world. These artisans were producing a small number of beautiful products made from wood, paper and other natural materials. It wasn't long before a deal had been struck and some of these products had been brought back to the U.K.

In 1991 the business was formed and the distinctive collection of giftware that now makes up the fabulous East of India range was born. The designs for all the products available are created by the design team and they are made using the same natural materials today. The group of talented artisans that helped to fire the idea for this range are still working for the business and are now employing many of their own family members using traditional skills to help meet the demand. A good deal of the manufacture of these products is also done in the U.K.

The products and gifts all bear the same familiar look and style making the range beautifully cohesive and completely exclusive. There are gifts for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and christenings as well as a range of more general gifts suitable for any occasion.
