 Payment Security and your Personal Data

At So Raise Your Glasses we take your security very seriously.

We never provide any details about you, your address, your order or anything else to any third party with the exception of the bank sp that we can verify payment for your order, and we give your address to our carrier so they can get the goods to you.

We don't provide your details to anyone else, and we won't send you endless promotional emails.

Payment Security

In order to protect you and ourselves we use one of the leading payment gateways to process all the card transactions we accept. The company concerned is "Secure Hosting" and they are accredited by all the major banks in the U.K. to handle online payments for them. 

When you select Checkout to go to enter your personal and payment details you are transferred to a secure server (SSL) which can be confirmed by the appearance of the little padlock sign on your web browser.

This means that all data you enter (name, address etc.), as you  complete the information we need to know is transferred from your computer to us in a scrambled form so that if that data was ever intercepted no-one could understand what it was or what it meant.

When you get to the page where you enter your card details you are transferred to another secure server, this time belonging to Secure Hosting. Secure Hosting accept your card details - number, expiry date, security code etc., and they don't even provide all of those details to us - only to the bank for payment purposes.

Once Secure Hosting have verified that the card is genuine you are transferred to the secure server at your bank so that you can provide them with the online password that is known only to you and the bank. This transfer can only be done from an accredited payment provider and ensures that the payment is absolutely secure. Only once you have completed the password that you are asked for correctly does the bank server transfer you back to our website and you can then see the confirmation that your order has been placed
