 Cake Decorations 

A cake is so often the centrepiece of any major celebration. Whether it's a big birthday, a diamond wedding anniversary, a Christening or Naming Day, an engagement or any other special occasion, there's hardly ever a time when a cake is not appropriate - and everyone loves a piece of cake!!

Decorating a cake is a difficult job for some people and can create all kinds of stress, so we have provided a range of cake decorations to make it easy. Once the icing is applied (and we supply ready made icing if you need it so all you have to do is roll it out and place it on the cake) then you want a few little bits and pieces to make it look special.

The starting point is always going to be finding a way of ensuring that your cake decorations convey the reason for the cake. So, if it's a bithday, a number on the cake to signify the person's age can be a whole lot easier than trying to add 50 candles. This way, one candle does the job and the cake doesn't end up covered in candle wax. You might want to make a change for the traditional candles and use cake sparklers instead. We can provide them as simple straight sparklers or in the shape of a star. Either way, they are indoor sparklers and so completely safe to use inside.

Flowers made from icing are a lovely way to decorate a cake and look spectacular, although they can be a nightmare to make unless you are very skilled. We sell ready made icing flowers in a variet of colours - red, white, gold, lilac (perfect for the big anniversaries as well as birthdays and christenings) and all you have to do is place them neatly on the cake.

There are a number of word decorations that simply say things like "Happy Birthday", "On your christening", Happy Anniversary" etc, and then we have a number of cake toppers that are ideal for the special anniversaries, and for Christenings and Naming Days.

Beyond this we have a range of sugar decorations which can be placed on the cake and they are edible so they don't need to be removed when you're sharing out the cake. These are suitable for birthdays, anniversaries, engagement, and all sorts of special occasions.
