This beautiful range of outdoor dining tableware is for those who want a quality dining experience outside without the worry of breaking or damaging your china, but don't want to depend upon lightweight disposable paper or plastic plates, bowls, mugs, glasses and accessories. 

If there's a big crowd or a party it's most likely that you'd choose paper tableware or plastic tableware that you can throw away afterwards, and we have an excellent range of these should you need them. However, for the more sophisticated al fresco dining experience without the worry of breakages we have put together a range of tableware, including plates, mugs, glasses and lanterns which is beautifully decorated and made of high quality melamine for almost indestructable use.

The beauty of our melamine tableware range is that it can be used many times again. It retains something of the weight of china tableware, thus avoiding the flimsiness of paper tableware, and yet it is almost unbreakable, so carrying it over concrete and flagstones is never a worry, and the odd accident might cost you a glass of wine, but not the glass itself!. It really is the perfect answer for those who want to experience a leisurely dining experience outside.

Decorated in beautiful colours it can be used equally well for a casual lunch, a formal dinner setting, or perhaps for afternoon tea. The traditional afternoon tea is seeing a real resurgence in recent months and with summer in mind, what could be better than a lovely afternoon tea on the patio with the perfect tableware to enjoy it.

Melamine is not only very strong, but of course it can be used equally effectively for both hot and cold food. It has the great advantage of being a poor heat conductor (whereas china conducts the heat of hotter food away quickly, which is why you warm china before serving hot food on it). No need for warming the melamine plates as they won't affect the heat of the food anywhere near as much, and so it is easier to serve with, particularly if you need to carry plates with food already on for any distance. No need to use a cloth to avoid burning your hands on the plates.
