Lilac is always a very popular colour for weddings and provides the perfect tone for wedding table decorations. It is light yet distinctive, and will blend well with a number of other colours so you retain flexibility when you choose lilac as your key colour. Lilac is complimented perfectly by silver, ivory or white, and purple and it never dates. It is a colour that usually looks very good on the bridesmaids  When choosing a lilac colour theme, you need to consider the flowers and/or balloons you wish to choose to compliment your theme and ensure there are touches of lilac in your wedding table decorations, but keep these discreet so the colour is there but doesn't dominate.
