You buy the Signed & Sealed plate or mug ready decorated to identify the special occasion that is to take place. This could be a special wedding anniversary - ruby, golden, diamond etc., or it could be a big birthday, a Christening of Naming Day, or possibly a Hen Night or an Engagement. Once you have allowed the ink to dry for 24 hours you bake the Signed and Sealed plate or the mug in an oven at 150C for just one hour. The ink will then become permanent on the plate or mug, and can be washed as normal crockery, even in a dishwasher!
