The distinctive gift range that comes from "East of India" is really special. It started back in 1989 when the founders of this innovative gift collection came across some talented artisans in their travels around the world. These artisans were producing a small number of beautiful products made from wood, paper and other natural materials. It wasn't long before a deal had been struck and some of these products had been brought back to the U.K. The same ideas and materials remain the mainstay of the range today with its unique style, and those artisans who originally inspired the formation of the business are still working for East of India today, along with many of their family and friends.
