Everyday Table Runners

Table runners for everyday use at home - a smart table runner is the base for an elegant dining table and really sets the scene.

Table Runners with pointed ends need to be draped over the end of your table but those with square ends can be used on all table sizes as they can either be draped over the end of the table or be used just down the centre of the table.

Most of our runners are 72 inches (6 feet or 180cm) long, and used as described above are suitable for most tables and dressers or sideboards. We have been asked for longer runners than these but they are not made as a standard item although we may be able to obtain some up to 90 inches long. In rare circumstances it is possible to get a product made in an unusual size but it depends entirely upon the ability of the supplier to obtain the appropriate material and can be a very expensive option. A far more practical solution for those unusually lengthy pieces of furniture is to taken two runners and to overlap them very slightly in the middle where they join. A carefully placed ornament or vase will almost completely disguise the join and solve the problem.
Most of our table runners are machine washable at 40'C making them a practical choice although we do have a few superb velvet or embroidered table runners for that really special occasion which we recommend are dry cleaned - this is shown in the product details.
