Planning your wedding
For most people the time when you decide to get married is one of the most wonderful moments in your life. Once the euphoria of that very special time has passed and all your friends and family have been told, the reality of what you've taken on begins to sink in as you start to plan the day itself. Most of us want a very special occasion indeed and whilst the extent of the celebration will have to be planned according to differing budgets, the essential ingredients that go to make up your special day are all fairly similar, as for a great many brides they follow traditions that have been handed down for generations. We cannot plan your day for you, but we can help in a few ways, and our Simple Guide to Planning your Wedding is a great place to start. It simply lists the key things you need to think about. It's in a roughly sensible order so that the items at the top of the list are probably those to get going with first, but in the end you have to decide what needs doing and when. Use it as a checklist if it will help you, or take out of it what is useful to you, and ignore the rest.
