Our lovely, simple wedding and evening invitations come pre-printed so that all you have to do is to fill in the names, place, date and time in order to create a perfect wedding invitation for all your guests. Having wedding stationery printed can be quite a significant additional expense when all the costs of the wedding and the reception are looming, and these invitations, which also have matching thank you cards for the gifts you receive, are every bit as lovely to receive and give your potential guests something brilliant to look forward to.
Needless to say the most important people will all know well in advance about your wedding and the date it's been booked in for. There will probably be some guests for whom the invitation is their first real notice of the wedding, and in order to ensure that no-one misses out on your big day, it is normal to send your invitations out about 3 months before the wedding. It gives people a chance to plan ahead and to keep that all important date free. Your invitations should always contain the letters RSVP which are the initial letters of 'Respondez s'il vous plait', the french for 'please reply'. You should expect to hear back from everyone to whom you send an invitation, but there will always be a few stragglers, so make sure that you keep a careful note of who you have sent invitations to, and when they have replied.
