Congratulations to Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke Of Edinburgh who today celebrate their 65th Wedding Anniversary. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were married on November 20th 1947. The Queen wore a dress which was made with fabric purchased using ration coupons, many members of the public offered their own coupons in an act of outstanding generosity.
The 65th Wedding Anniversary is known as a Blue Sapphire Anniversary and approximately 2000 couples in the UK will celebrate this anniversary in 2012.
We haven't had an order yet from the Palace for a personalised banner, some pretty napkins or a guest book. Disappointing!!!
