Wedding Lottery Ticket Holders

The introduction of the National Lottery has created a modern day wedding favour which has gained in popularity in recent years. A very simple and inexpensive option, a single lottery ticket given to every guest makes for an additional bit of excitement for everyone, as they contemplate the possibility of a huge win as a result of coming to your wedding. As these favours cost just £1 each, and take very little preparation, they work out well in all respects. The only issue that people have had is the presentation of these as gifts at a table place setting. The tickets themselves are somewhat functional and don't operate well from a decorative point of view. The answer is a lottery ticket holder - in effect a little envelope that is tastefully decorated to meet the mood of your wedding, and holds the prize ticket.
There have been one or two incidents as a result of this practise, as occasionally the hosts have been upset at a wonderful win achieved by one of their guests, and have claimed that they have a right to at least a part of their prize. This could lead to an ugly scene after the big day, or even at the evening reception if the draw is made on the same day, so remember that a gift is a gift, and you give it willingly!!
